Is Cycloscape a cycling simulator?
Yes — a route simulator. Give it a GPX and it builds that road as a 3D world you ride on a smart trainer, with resistance following the real gradient and your speed coming from your own watts, your weight and the slope. It does not predict your finish time in advance; that is a pacing calculator, a different tool.
Do I need a smart trainer?
No. Any route rides free, auto-paced. Connect a smart trainer to ride with your own power, or just a heart-rate strap for live zones.
Which devices work?
Bluetooth heart-rate straps and FTMS smart trainers, in Chrome or Edge on desktop or Android. You can also import and upload rides with Strava.

How do I ride with a YouTuber?
When a creator hosts a ride, it shows up under “Live now”. Hit Join and you're pedalling alongside them in real time.

Is it fair?
Always. Two riders at the same watts and weight go exactly the same speed. Cosmetics never change the race.
